I knew when I decided to do a "gag-a-day" comic that it would be harder than doing a story comic. Stories tend to take on a life of their own, while gag-a-day has to stand on its own... most of the time. I really, really, really can't wait for football season to start again. I had no idea how much I was relying on Sunday night chatter to write this comic.
